The latest device from OnePlus is the OnePlus 7T. Let’s talk about its specs and features. The screen is 6.55″ Fluid AMOLED. It occupies 86.5% of the front of the device. The resolution is 2400×1080 with 402ppi. The screen supports HDR10+ technology and higher frequency refresh rate. It is 90Hz, which means it produces 90 frames per second. Tests show the screen is indeed 90Hz. Will the refresh rate make a difference for you? Yes. If you are watching 1080p video with 60fps, you will find a difference. Especially, if the content supports HDR.
The content must support HDR and high refresh rate to benefit from this technology. The results were very good. For your information, the device comes with a mono speaker. The audio experience is not that great compared to the screen. The device comes with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ with 7nm built and 8 cores. The results of the Geekbench 5 were as follows: 792 in single core and 2845 in multi cores. The result of the Antutu benchmark was as follow: 399398 points. And when compared to the OnePlus 7 Pro, the result of the older device was 367285 points. The performance of the OnePlus 7T is better than the OnePlus 7 Pro. The device comes with the Adreno 640 GPU.
PUBG played with the highest settings, and Call of Duty performance was excellent. The graphic performance on this device is excellent. The RAM is 8GB and the onboard storage is 128GB The device runs Android 10 with OxygenOS from OnePlus. It supports a cool feature called Reading Mode. This mode changes the colors of the screen to make reading easier. The design of the rear cameras is circular, and there are 3 cameras there. The first one is a wide 48MP with an f/1.6 aperture, the second one is a telephoto 12MP with an F/2.2 aperture. The third one is 16MP ultra wide with an F/2.2 aperture. The front facing camera is a wide 16MP with an F/2.0 aperture. The rear cameras’ mode are cool. The first one is up to 10x zoom.
It also supports Night scape, portrait and others. It supports panorama, pro and time lapse modes. You can choose whatever mode you’d like and need in this OnePlus 7T device. For your information, you’ll get the Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS UI. OnePlus 7 Pro hasn’t received Android 10 update yet, so you’ll have to wait for it. You won’t be using Night Mode and other features in the OnePlus 7 Pro yet. The battery is 3800mAh. OnePlus uses their Warp Charge technology, which charges the device with 30w. We tested it when the battery was fully dead, and it turned back on after a minute of charging it. After 7 minutes, it reached 10%. And it reached 15% after 10 minutes of charging. And it reached 23% after 15 minutes of charging.
After 30 minutes, it reached 46%. OnePlus says the charger will charge the device to 50% in 30 minutes, and our tests showed nearly the same number. Unfortunately, the device doesn’t come with a headphone jack and Micro SD card. But it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC, and it is compatible with Mada Pay. It comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor, and it is excellent. It also supports face recognition, but we don’t advise using it as it doesn’t come with sensors. OnePlus also released their Bullet Wireless 2. It is a wireless headphone that you can hang it on your neck. It supports fast charging and 10 minutes of charging gives you 10 hours of usage. It comes with a USB-C port for charging. The price make a huge difference. It is available in e-stores, and this is OnePlus’s way of selling their devices.
